Living-in.EU is the public platform behind an EU movement of cities and regions. You sign the Join, Boost, Sustain declaration. You get a shared desk: news, working groups, a knowledge base, and the people doing the same work in another country.

The movement started in 2019. Eurocities, OASC and ENoLL, with the Commission in the room. The point is simple. Digital transformation for a city should not mean buying a closed stack and starting from zero. Strategies can be shared. Solutions can be reused. Standards such as MIMs Plus keep the market open.

The current funded phase is Go Li.EU, under Digital Europe, running through 2026. City leaders, city officers and solution providers use the same site with different doors in. Working groups on legal, financial, technical, education and impact. The topics that keep coming back are data spaces, interoperability and local digital twins. LORDIMAS sits on the site when a city needs to know how digitally mature it actually is.

We built and operate the platform. Drupal 10, EU-hosted. The declaration, stories, events, EU support services, login, search, a knowledge base. The same content layer feeds the desks that sit next to it: Toolbx and the Digital Twins Helpdesk. We did not start the movement. We built the house it lives in.
