Mollie payments are now first-class in Simezu. Webhooks, refunds, multi-currency. The pieces we kept rebuilding by hand.
Simezu started as auth, tenants and subscriptions for our own products. Stripe was in early because it was familiar. Dutch and wider EU teams kept asking for Mollie. Fair request. For a lot of local businesses Mollie is simply how they already get paid.
Version 1.1 does not bolt Mollie on as a side plugin. Payment flows sit in the same order and auth model as the rest of the platform. You pick a provider per app. Reconciliation stays visible when both Stripe and Mollie are in play.
What shipped
Webhook verification that rejects junk before it touches state. Idempotent refunds so a double click does not invent money. Multi-currency display for the cases where the charge currency and the reporting currency are not the same. The same surface on self-hosted and managed installs. No "works on our cloud only" branch.
We also tightened how failed payments surface to the app that owns the customer. Silent failures were the old habit. They are gone.
Why this mattered
Every product we ship that takes money eventually hits the same fork. Either you own the payment path, or you keep writing glue between a SaaS dashboard and your own user table. Simezu exists to cut that glue. Mollie support was the missing piece for the clients who will never move their merchant account to Stripe.
If you already run Simezu, 1.1 is a normal upgrade. Configure Mollie where you configure Stripe. Point the webhooks. Test a refund once. Then leave it alone.
